Spain – The Country

Spain is a developed country located in the Southern Europe. Spain has the highest number of tourists only after France. Spain boasts of major cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Spain also has very interesting places like Vigo, Granada, and Cordoba, Galicia etc. In short Spain has various great and amazing tourist destinations.

Spain has a lot of beautiful beaches in the areas like Segovia, Andalusia, Toledo, and Salamanca. Rias Baixas, Mallorca, Salou, Valencia, Benidorm, Catalonia, Canary Islands, The Cantabrico, and Balearic Islands also have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Spain has been included in the list of the most visited places in the world and it’s no mean feat to be included in such a list. It’s a great achievement for a country like Spain. The Basque country coast, which is a very beautiful place, has also become very important tourist destination.

 Travelling in the country is felicitated by a sound transport system. The country Spain has airports at the various important cities and flowing in to the country has become very easy. Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Parla are few of the cities in Spain with the metro rail systems which the traveling within the country so more easy. Bilbao, Ceuta, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands) are some of most important ports in Spain. There are total 96 Airports with paved runways and 61 Airports with unpaved runways. Spain Air, Air Europa, Iberia Airlines are the most important Airlines based in Spain.
